Prof. Oded Shoseyov
Board Member

A faculty member of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prof. Shoseyov’s research is in plant molecular biology protein engineering and nano-biotechnology. His group focus on Bio-Inspired Nanocomposite materials.  He has authored or co-authored more than 160 scientific publications and is the inventor or co-inventor of 50 patents. Shoseyov is also co-owner and winemaker of BRAVDO winery (http://www.bravdo.co.il/home) named after his mentor, and partner Prof. Ben Ami Bravdo.  Prof. Shoseyov received the Outstanding Scientist Polak Award for 2002, the 1999 and 2010 Kay Award for Innovative and Applied Research and The 2012 Israel Prime Minister Citation for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is the scientific founder of 10 companies. Among them are:

Dr. Dror Shalitin
Founder and CEO

Dror founded PlantArcBio in 2014. For more than 17 years, Dror served in many senior Biotechnology R&D positions. Prior to founding PlantArcBio, Dror worked at Evogene (NASDAQ, TASE: EVGN), a leading gene discovery company, as a Trait Research Leader, for more than 5 years. Dror also served as Senior Scientist at the ‘Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research’, West Hollywood, California, and a post-doctorate fellow and a Research-Associate at the University of California Los-Angeles. His scientific findings were published in standing journals such as Nature, Plant Cell and PNAS. Dror is dedicated to various aspects of plant research since the early 90s.

Dror holds a Ph.D. (2001) and a M.Sc. (1994) from the Department of Field Crops and Genetics, and the Department of Plant Pathology (respectively), of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Roy Livneh
Chief Business Development

Roy leads PlantArcBio’s business development and sales efforts. For more than 17 years, Roy served in many senior business development, marketing and sales, and account management positions, in start-up companies and established public companies. Until 2014 Roy served as a Director of Business Development at Evogne (NASDAQ, TASE: EVGN) leading the business aspects of the Yield and Abiotic Stress Division. Roy also served as VP Business Development in several other companies like Saifun Semiconductors and GreenIQ.  Roy is establishing licensing based collaborations, including service and/or technology transfer since 2000.

Roy holds an MBA from Recanati Business School, Tel-Aviv University (1997) and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion (1993).
